Does anyone out there eat barnacles? Have you?! A colleague of mine was on holiday in Spain recently and saw barnacles listed on a menu (which had been translated into English). She wasn't sure whether it was a mis-translation or not...and she wasn't game enough to order it and see! If it was barnacles, presumably it was goose barnacles or other larger species?
